Dear little bird,
You are apparently the size of a soccer ball, but I've played soccer, and you don't seem to be that big, but you seem to be just as active as a soccer ball, moving all the time in mommies belly. It is the strangest feeling ever for you to be moving and kicking against my organs (including my bladder still), and not manage to puncture something! It feels like I'm going to start gushing intestine juice, or feel a rib break, but heavenly father made us mommies to be able to bear all this!
You are also growing everyday in the sense that you have started moving up underneath my belly button. This is now putting pressure on my lungs making me feel like an 80 year old woman every time I walk 10 feet! It's all ok though because I love you.
All of my pants officially don't fit, and I have had to go buy all stretchy pants. I guess I knew that would happen, but I was in denial. I have gained 10 pounds up to this point, and the Dr. said that everything is good and normal.
Your dad and I have started working on your new bedroom this week, and have been deciding on your crib, stroller (which I know you'll have fun in), and all the other fun stuff we get to buy! I am keeping up this awesome 'Map of the World' wallpaper on one wall in your room, and then the other walls are painted a really light easter green. I think it's perfect. Im excited to get it all finished for when you get here!
We have also been talking about what we want you to learn in this world and all the awesome things we want you to see! I want you to play the piano like I did, and your daddy wants you to play the drums like he does. We can't wait for you to see the beach and play in the water for the first time, and take you to the zoo to meet all the animals! There is so much to experience! We have also been talking about trying to make a sibling for you who will be close in age to you. We don't want you to be by yourself for too long, and everybody needs a sibling to make fun of their parents with!!
Mommy: I still have an inny belly button, which Im really trying to preserve. I currently weigh 135. I have been craving lots of salads with Ranch, subway sandwiches, Taco Bell nachos, Cherry 7-up, and smarties candies. Of course I eat a lot more than these things, but these are my favorites right now. I have not been exercising up to this point, but starting Monday, I have a yoga instructor coming to my house once a week. I have no more nausea, but I am starting to get heartburn. I've never had that before, so It's a new feeling.
